Kirby Puckett Dies At 45

One day after suffering a stroke, Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett died at age 45. The 10-time all-star led the Minnesota Twins to two World Series titles in 1987 and 1991. Puckett’s career was cut short when he was diagnosed with glaucoma in his right eye, which caused him to lose his sight in that eye. He was a career .318 hitter and 6-time Gold Glove winner in centerfield.
