So Much for the Highlight Reel

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

A German court has ruled that stadium operators can claim damages caused by streakers at soccer matches. In other words, stadiums that are fined by the German Soccer Federation for allowing streakers can in turn file that retribution on the streakers themselves.

This comes as a big blow to soccer fans everywhere.

Anybody who has ever watched a soccer match knows that the occasional streaker provides the only real entertainment during any soccer match… And with the World Cup just a mere 40 days away, many Europeons are dreading a final match that sanctions genuine entertainment.

We here at Fucked Sports are going out on a limb here… And predicting a riot.

As an avid soccer streaker myself I am shocked and appalled. I mean not only do I now have to incur the cost of the clothes that I wear to the stadium, which I eventually discard, but now I’m going to have to pay some poppycock fine that the stadium gets. I haven’t been this mad since I found out that kicking a Manchester fan in the head was actually a crime.
