Bryant Reaches Another Milestone….

Sunday, March 5th, 2006

Kobe Bryant became the youngest player in NBA history to score 16,000 points on Friday night at 27 years and 192 days. He beat Wilt Chamberlain by 4 days. Just two months earlier became the youngest player in NBA history to score 15,000 points. IRONICALLY, KOBE IS ON PACE TO BE THE SLOWEST PERSON IN NBA HISTORY TO REACH ANY SORT OF MILESTONE FOR ASSISTS…

LeBron Booed At Home?

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

Was it because the Cavs lost? Nope. Did he insult the crowd? Nope. Was he human? Bullseye. LeBron James put up 25-7-9 in a loss to the Wizards Friday night, but it was his performance in the second half that brought on the jeers. He went 0-8 from the field and 4-12 from the line in the second half and was booed by the home crowd in the final minutes. REAL SMART, HECKLE THE ONLY REASON YOU ACTUALLY GO TO SEE THE CAVS PLAY. YOU DIDN’T GO TO SEE ERIC SNOW DISH IT TO DREW GOODEN…

King James commented after the game: “If these fans want to boo me, it’s on them.” NO ‘BRON, IT’S STILL ON YOU. IT ALWAYS WILL BE. TAKE A TIP FROM KOBE: GET RID OF THOSE STUPID ASSISTS; TEAMMATES ARE FOR PUSSIES…

Telfair Suspended 2 Games For Firearms Incident

Friday, February 24th, 2006

Portland Trail Blazer’s guard Sebastian Telfair was suspended two games by the NBA after a loaded firearm was found during an inspection of the team’s plane earlier in the month. No charges were filed, but this violates the collective bargaining agreement which prohibits a player from possessing a firearm while on team or league business. Telfair said that the gun was his girlfriend’s and he grabbed her bag by accident. OBVIOUSLY SEBASTIAN ISN’T A TRUE TRAIL BLAZER YET…WHERE WERE THE DRUGS AT???

The 20-year-old came straight out of high school and was the 13th overall pick in the 2004 draft, and is averaging 8 points and 4 assists in 25 minutes per game. IF HE SHOOTS A GUN ANYTHING LIKE HE SHOOTS A BASKETBALL, THEN WE’LL ALL BE FINE.
